Help is available for youth in crisis 24-hours a day, seven days
a week by calling the Statewide Call Center at 211.
Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services accepts telephone referrals from
all individuals and agencies.
Callers receive immediate access
to crisis workers through the hotline. Based on an initial telephone
assessment, the following services may be provided:
- On-site crisis assessment and intervention
- Short-term stabilization services
- Referral to community services
- Referral to a local collaborative/system of care
Once a crisis situation is stabilized, a comprehensive assessment
determines the long-term needs of the youth and his or her family.
